Position Title: Afterschool Care Monitor

Parish or School Name: Saint Raphael Catholic School

Position Start Date: Immediately

Full Time or Part Time: Part Time

Hours per week: 15 hours/week (Monday through Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm)

Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions

• Ensure the welfare and safety of children and respond accordingly

• Coordinate and lead engaging activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and service projects

• Provide support for students to ensure they complete their homework

• Close supervision of students at play

• Provide structure and discipline to prevent any major behavioral issues

• Assist program director in logistics regarding closing and organizing for the end of day

• Exhibit a strong sense of personal accountability and high expectations for student safety 

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum level of Education: Associates/Bachelors
  

• Minimum amount of Work Experience:

  • Years of related work experience: 1 year

  • Area of related work experience in Education/Teaching
